ASTEPRO Prescribing & Dosing
ASTEPRO Nasal Spray is an H1 receptor antagonist indicated for the relief of the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in patients 12 years of age and older.
ASTEPRO prescribing & dosing information:
- ASTEPRO is for intranasal use only.
- The usual starting dosage for seasonal allergic rhinitis is 1 or 2 sprays per nostril bid for adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older.
- ASTEPRO is supplied in one 30 mL bottle containing 200 metered sprays.
Help Your Patients Use ASTEPRO Correctly
Following the correct administration procedure will help your patients benefit from ASTEPRO.
Patients need to prime the delivery mechanism before use.
Before initial use, your patients should prime the system with 4 sprays or until a fine mist appears. If ASTEPRO is not used for 3 days or more, patients should reprime the system with 2 sprays, or until a fine mist appears again.
